Brief Biography of
Instructor
(within 200 words)
Prof. Reisach holds a summa cum laude Ph.D. from LMU Munich(慕尼黑大学) and has published 10 books on international management and communication. For 20 years, she held management positions in corporate communications and international strategy development in banking and industry. Until 2008 she was Director of Siemens Corporate Communication and Government Affairs. She then took a full-time professorship at the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences, Bavaria/Germany, and is heading the university’s center of excellence in Corporate Communications.

Course Description

The first two lectures aim at preparing participants for a professional preparation of public speeches. It introduces the key methods of research, structuring, designing and delivering public speeches in international contexts. It clarifies the expectations and practices in Europe and in the USA, compared to China. It provides the unique opportunity to learn how to enhance reputation and inspire audience. If the number of participants is small (8-12), participants will be able to get personal feedback and coaching.
The last three lectures introduce key concepts of CSR/Sustainability management and Corporate Governance. They explain international differences in management approaches, public expectations and media relations. Using practical examples, participants will learn how to evaluate and improve companies’ and institutional CSR/Sustainability/ CG efforts and communications.
